The Isola Di Cocco translates as the Island of Coconuts. And sure enough, the resort is covered with coconut trees. It gives a wonderfully green, leafy quality and ensures that nature never feels at arm's length when you're exploring Kerala. The long fronds also give plenty of dappled shade too.
