I was initially disappointed with the hotel services because of the check-in process and almost none benefit for an Elite Platinum Ambassador member (apart of the 20 USD).

This review is to update the previous review (from 6 days ago).

The location is awesome, the beach in front of the hotel is calm and clean and if you like snorkeling it is perfect!

There are four restaurants. Le Cap was the favorite, but the Italian and the El Faro are also great, and if you want to have dinner in a place with AC, those are the ones.


Excellent location! Beach is perfect!!!

I stayed here for a conference and like all intercontinental hotels it was fantastic.  Great amenities, pool and beach.  My room was very quiet and comfortable.  After I had to leave early for an emergency the team was very understanding and refunded a night which I was grateful for.  While not cheap well worth the money.

Well worth the price

A really nice hotel. Great pools and facilities. Staff let the side down somewhat… so many at reception had Trainee badges. Check in took 20-25 mins. Checkout took a similar amount of time.
I had booked the hotel on Hotels Tonight… the price difference between Direct on IHG and on the Hotels Tonight was near $200usd. 
They had my CC on file do I could use the bars and restaurants and charge to my room… someone didn’t complete the paperwork or process it correctly so after being told I’m NOT staying at the hotel by the Pool bar staff, I showed them my room key and the process with reception started again. 
Eventually had to again approach reception… to their credit, I did get a 20% discount on Room Service. But still, unnecessary hassle and over an hour sorting out their mistakes.

Good/Great Hotel… stunning pools and beachfront location. Poor process control and weak training. Never saw Management

Cant say enough nice things about this property. Stayed in a Club room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Rooms are quiet and well appointed, breakfast is great, staff is helpful, property has an incredible beach and is classy throughout. Property has anything you could want including a spa, 3 restaurants, a gym and a great club lounge.

Keeping it classy

I can't say enough good things about this wonderful hotel, especially the staff. They were there to make every part of our stay wonderful! The beds are very comfortable and the pools were clean and refreshing! I also enjoyed using the gym. I wish there were a few different menu options - it would have been nice to be able to get some lighter food but I would definitely stay again.
