Great hotel, locate 10 min from restaurants, beach and shops, lovely rooms great service, wonderful food, lots of selection. Clean and tidy. highly recommend, would definitely go back with the family or for romantic get away, beautiful and pleasant

Great hotel

Great hotel near everything. I had a room with a balcony which I loved. It was clean and neat. Has a parking lot, big pool with lots of trees surrounding it. What I didn’t like? The cocktails by the pool. The mixture tasted very artificial and very low alcohol. I ask the bartender if he could fix it and he said no because he was being watched from the cámaras.

Great hotel, poor bar

Amazing stay!! We stayed here for 7 nights and it was a very good stay. Quick check in process, friendly staff and we got a complimentary fruit juice. Our room was really big, absolutely huge bed, even seemed bigger than a UK super king, the comfiest, plumpest pillows as well, nice sitting area, good sized bathroom with 2 sinks, safe, fridge, powerful shower, shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided and loads of storage space. Also, our cleaner cleaned the room amazingly everyday! 

The pool area was so pretty with all the greenery around the pool, nice comfy bed type sun loungers, good shade if you want it, you also get complimentary beach towels that are a good large size. The pool is so pretty, it’s always a nice temperature, never too cold and it was never ever crowded, nice loungers in the pool too and hanging chairs, and an area to sit in the pool at the bar. The pool is open from 8am to 9pm. 

The staff were always so helpful, breakfast was nice (toast, bagels, pancakes, potatoes, vegetables, cereal, fruit (melon, pineapple) and you could also get omelettes and fried eggs for no extra cost) 

The tours from the hotel were very good (we booked Chichen Itza Deluxe, Xplor Park and Xcaret Plus) all the tours were amazing and the man we booked with was so friendly, they also offered other tours, such as Xel-ha, Tulum ruins, Catamaran tour, Coco Bongo, to name a few more. 

We didn’t end up using the bar area but it looked very pretty, loads of drink options and they also offered snacks as well, such as sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, tacos, fajitas and fries. 

Amazing location, off of 5th Avenue but it’s only about a 5 minute walk to the middle of 5th Avenue, which was perfect, quiet at night, we slept perfectly.

Amazing stay, recommend!

The cleanliness of this hotel is terrible. They don't clean their linens and pillow cases and smelled bad and disgusting. They dont clean the room as well. The towels were just hanging on the wall. I called front desk multiple times to changes all linens and nobody answered the phone. 
So, i called the Hopper agency to ask if i can leave this hotel and switch to different hotel. Agent called the hotel to request but she said that they were not answering.

I called the room service again around 9 p.m. and requested changing bedding sheets and pillows everything because they smelled disgusting but, they brought only one pillow case. I asked them to smell pillows and linen. A helper guy said that they smelled no good and changed pillows. I couldn’t sleep well because i was uncomfortable to sleep. When i woke up next day, i got the bed bug  bites and my skin is very itchy. I complained to the front desk next day and talked with supervisor and showed my skin. I told him I want to see the Dr.. When Dr came to see my skin, she said not to go into water b/c it can make my skin worse and complicated. 

The supervisor said that send him the picture of skin for refund. I send the picture but he never responded it back. 

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed.  I WASTED MY TIME AND MONEY. DON'T STAY THIS HOTEL. I would rather spend more money to stay at the other hotel.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life regarding safety. It’s extremely unsafe. If you are coming from the US or Europe, avoid this hotel!!

The staff are very rude, especially those at the reception. When you challenge them (about some made-up nature tax?), they suddenly don’t understand English. What a joke.

The rooms are extremely basic and definitely not worth the price.

It’s commonly known that Playa del Carmen is run by a ‘taxi mafia.’ They are on every corner. Some are genuine drivers trying to earn a living, but many are up to no good. There are always taxi drivers outside this hotel, constantly scanning the area and checking everything. They come to the hotel to use the facilities as they please. There is no front door, and there is no one to stop them. The hotel security guard is a joke; they do nothing to stop trespassing.

My friend came to pick me up with his car, but the taxi drivers blocked our car, and we couldn’t leave. The reception saw this incident and did nothing! They are completely useless; it’s extremely unsafe. After this incident, I had the misfortune of staying in this dodgy hotel for another couple of days. The taxi drivers were always watching me (they literally sat outside the main door) and took pictures of me, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and vulnerable.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
