Amazing vacation at Riu!

We stayed here for a bachelorette party! It was a very fun time! The rooms were nice and we loved the swim up bar! The beach was also beautiful!

Good girls trip location!

I had the unenviable task of chaperoning a group of 14 eighteen year olds on their senior trip. We chose this hotel based on price and beach. 
It was excellent. The front desk staff other than a hiccup with room assignments was very accommodating. Checking in and out was made easy for our very large group. 
The real star of the show was the entertainment staff though and in particular Didiel was great. The boys loved him and they developed a great relationship. They kept the entire week fun which is a hard task for fickle eighteen year olds. The boys even did karaoke! 
The beach was amazing and never had to fight for chairs or shade. The drinks were good as long as you don't set your expectations too high and know that everything is very sugary. 
I was worried that food would get old but we always found something we liked. The breakfast in particular was excellent with the made to order omelets. And pro tip: get as much of the mango as you can. It was so much better there than home. Lunch was great and dinner had variety. If you didn't like something at one restaurant, go to another. We found ourselves in the Asian a lot. 
One very cool thing that the resort did was prepare a Mahi that we caught that day on a fishing excursion. It made the kid's trip that caught it to be able to eat it with his friends. The fishing excursion picked us up right from the beach and took us snorkeling after. 
They never had a problem handling our large group for any meal either. 
Housekeeping was amazing.
I almost forgot the White Party! They go through so much to make this such a big event. I saw everyone from kids to the elderly really enjoying themselves. They were bussing in guests from the other Riu's and it was such a huge event. Pro Tip: they have guest wifi when you go over to Riu Tequila. 
Finally, please tip everyone that helps you. I did not see anyone doing that other than us.

Awesome trip- Didiel is the man!

Although I put that I visited this hotel last year in reality I visited in September 2018. Until this day I compare every holiday I go on to the this experience that changed my life and holidays as I know it. 

From the moment we stepped into the hotel to the moment we sadly had to leave, we were treated impeccably and made to feel like we were truly on the best place on earth. 

The check in process was very fast and the hotel was very accommodating as were there to celebrate two birthdays, they really made the occasions special. The rooms were very spacious, nice and clean, the beds were also very comfy. The cleaning team would always leave us towel animal decorations, giving us something to look forward to everyday and which we collected until the end of our stay. 

The hotel offered plenty of entertainment that we never once felt bored. The entertainment/ pool staff were very friendly and attentive making the environment great and making everyone enjoy there time there together. We took part in many activities such as pool bingo, aqua classes, making drinks, pool parties and bbq on the beach. The staff even assisted in booking excursions for us.

The restaurants at the hotel were very good, all the food was delicious and we had plenty of choices during our 10 day stay, my favourite was the steakhouse followed closely by the Italian. 

Overall it was a very memorable holiday and has set my standards high for any holiday that I go on especially on an all inclusive board. 

I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and I look forward to returning when the opportunity arises.

Dreaming about the day I can return

Not our first family trip to Mexico. Happy to say that this place is on the list to visit again. Nice rooms, decent food, and fun activities all contributed to our enjoyment; but the staff’s service and hospitality is the one thing that made us feel most relaxed every day. Great for families, but didn’t feel overrun by kids. All inclusive, but didn’t feel like a booze fest.
