The Reef 28

This was our first trip to Mexico and we couldn’t have chosen a better resort! We felt welcomed from the very moment we walked through the front doors. We were able to use all the amenities offered which we loved and visited every restaurant atleast once. This was an experience to remember. Thank you for making my husband’s Birthday trip an Exceptional one! 

Husbands Birthday trip

Upon arrival, they check you in and show you around the hotel. The vacation club representative will sit you down to book a presentation the follow day. This was unfortunate for us as my birthday was the next day and it seems every “90 minute” presentation turn into 3+ hours. We were lucky our 10 AM presentation only went until 2pm and I was able to enjoy some parts of my birthday. 

The master suite was not ready upon our arrival and we had to stay in a standard room for just one night. When we finally got our master suite, we loved the balcony and layout of the room. We were so excited about the tub. however, both the tub and the shower only produced lukewarm water and did not invite for much relaxation. 

Food goes beyond other hotel and all inclusive resorts I’ve been to, cook to order, and meals came out hot. The resort was under construction for the Asian restaurant but the other food options were sufficient for us. 
The drinks were so good, you could get them to go back to your room. We were drinking on Carajillos every day and night. Thanks David for a great week of drinks! 

We went to Okum spa three times during our stay and one we did with the massage, it was amazing. The environment is very relaxing.

There is so much to do in the surrounding area so much is walkable, but also most taxi rides will cost you 200 pesos. Fifth Avenue was a huge shopping strip just  up the street and we enjoyed walking around and seeing all the different shops and souvenirs you could buy. 

The weather was awesome even with the one night of thunderstorms. It was cool to see it roll in at night. The beach is right down the street and recommend going to listen to the waves at night. So peaceful. 



Successful Birthday Getaway

Girls trip celebrating a milestone birthday @ the Reef 28. We were greeted with a brilliant smile & welcome 🥂 by Carolina. She took personal care of ever detail with so much grace and class. From wines decorations, room service, macroons, charcuteries that wowed and topped each day. We cannot thank her enough. 
Brenda, we love you and your staff. The Reef 28 became home on day one and is now our premier vacation adults only hot spot.Special thanks to Belassario, Adonai, Amilcar, Christian, Julissa, Ricardo, Uriel, Anyfer, Eziquel, Alejandro,  and so many more.

So Impressed!

It’s a nice hotel but they need improvements. They need to thoroughly inspect rooms after all guest leave. To make sure that things are working properly and aren’t broken. After the rooms are clean, they should automatically restock the fridge. I shouldn’t have to call midday after being at the pool or out of the hotel to complain that our mini fridge hasn’t been restocked. They need to clean their pools and hot tubs as well as the hot tub isn’t that hot and it takes a long time to get room temperature so they should put it on when they open up especially if the weather is breezy and chilly.

Anniversary Getaway

Very nice hotel with a rooftop pool and bar. Near to the beach and 5:th Avenue.
Have the best bartender in the hotel lobby, Ricardo, top notch man👊🏻👍🏻❤️
Rest of staff also very good but that guy was great!

Breakfast and dining ok, wish they changed the menu for dinner but still ok👍🏻

Vaccation
