This hotel is not worthy of its 5 star rating.

Housekeeping was a poor standard even after complaining to guest services about things going missing from our room and housekeeping taking it upon themselves to bin things of ours! It seems that only the bed got made and towels changed as the floors were filthy and surfaces were dusty and unclean.

Our minifridge was never restocked although this is a perk and you can request things on the app we had a tip left in there for 5 days which just shows they never even attempted to open our fridge even though someone goes round each day refilling.

The buffet is quite basic we found breakfast was the best however this definitely depends on what food you like. It is is also difficult to recommend resteraunts as they were inconsistent. 

On our visit to the steakhouse we actually seen one of the chefs picking up steaks with his bare hands and poking them and putting them back on the grill and not once did we see him leave to wash his hands in about a 35 minute period. The best food place we found was grazie to go but it is often busy.

Room service leaves a lot to be desired it's great that it is at no extra charge however, having to wait 45 minutes minimum for freezing cold food isn't great.

Tipping culture is definitely a thing in this resort as a brit we are used to tipping for good service not as a given so this is tricky to navigate. However, if you want to not be ignored for 15 minutes at the bar every time keep a tip in your hand. We were left on multiple occasions because it wasn't clear to the bar staff that we were going to tip them so they would go to those who had money in their hand first.

The entertainment schedule during the day looks jam packed but we didn't see any of it except aqua fit. This may be due to the weather however, on sunny days we never heard any announcements for activities for us to get involved in which was disappointing as its difficult to keep track of.

The app is useful for booking resteraunts and requesting things such as minifridge restocks and extras such as towels, hangers. 

Tui champions were the best part of the holiday for us they checked in on us every day asking if we need anything and if we needed anything we always got it quicker asking them rather than the hotel themselves. 

I would also recommend coming prepared with enough cash we used pesos and when trying to exchange gbp to mxn we would lose so much money as their exchange rate was really poor. This is a problem if you do not have enough cash left to pay for a taxi out of the hotel to change it elsewhere. If you use dollars there are cash machines but they come at a charge.

Upon checkout we only had 45 minutes until pick up and a member of staff said we can leave the cases with the bell boy.  I politely declined and said that's okay we don't have long left and he flung his hands up in the air and scoffed at me because I wouldn't hand them over to him (presumably for a tip)

We also had someone approach us and ask us how our stay went at the end and we informed him that it was  poor and we were really disappointed considering we paid almost £4.5k for the holiday. However, he wasn't actually interested in our feedback as he didn't write anything down to take any notes to pass on.

Aromatherapy Yoga was a perfect way to start the day! I suggest you get up early and start you day with this before you hit the pool and swim up bar! There is a surprise mini massage at the end of the experience.  Sun over the ocean is just wonderful as you begin you day!

First, this place is huge—there is a lot to do throughout the day. The pools are huge, and the kids' waterpark was very much enjoyed by my 3- and 5-year-olds. My 11-year-old could not get enough of the water slides. I also understand that with these many people, the employers try to get to know everyone, but you have to realize that some people are rude or rude, so I don't expect to be at my calling as soon. But they are good and try their best. Food was good for being made at a large qty. Entertainment was great for all ages. My room was in building 19 and had no issues. None. I would definitely recommend this resort if you are coming with children.  The only downside is the beach, but they can't control that. Murk and seaweed. Also we paid extra for Diamond club which has it perks.
