Unless you're a time share owner--expect to be treated like you're second class by the policies that are in place.  unacceptable behavior by security.  plus being asked multiple times daily about the booking trips and or a time share event made this trip unbearable..  I couldn't wait to leave. It felt like an open air prison.

Great wildlife, snorkeling. Great swim beach. Minor Mayan ruins onsite! Staff super friendly. Would have liked to see more sargassum cleanup efforts but overall pretty good. Would like to see a larger enclosure for the flamingos by the pool

Great place, didn’t need to go anywhere else

We traveled with 9 people total to this resort.  5 rooms.  We had issues with transportation and the staff was not helpful and kept repeating the same information.  At one point the lady said to me, “YOU LISTEN TO ME!”  Uh, no, you need to listen to the customer.  The resort itself is fine.  Food is mediocre.  I would not consider it all inclusive when you have to pay for room service, you can’t go out and get free food during night and restaurants had a la carte things that cost extra.   Any staff outside of front office, reception and transportation was great!   We paid for the Xcarte pass, our reservation indicated $750 in credit discounts.  This was misrepresented and false.  I would never stay here again after the treatment we received.  Which is a shame since the resort itself was nice.  Nobody seemed to hear our concerns or care for that matter!

Not a place I recommend..

We once again stayed at this resort. The grounds itself were very well kept for a resort that’s built into the jungle ( there will be a few signs of wear and tear with anything that close to saltwater and in jungle). The views from the lobby, beach, and shoreline are amazing. The room was nicely equipped, and staffed worked hard to keep it clean. 
The food: The buffets were good, nothing amazing but I nice food variety. The restaurants had a nice menu and the food was really good. The only change I would make is the location of the seafood restaurant. Last time I was there it was located in the restaurant which over looked the bay where there was always a nice breeze for outdoor restaurant. It is currently located overlooking a pool where there is no breeze and a little too hot outside to really enjoy the food. 
Kids club: was really good. Our young daughter absolutely loved the kids club and the activities. 
First club was nice, bartenders worked hard to keep up with the requests from the guests. The did their best to keep it clean. The staff did a great job of trying to take care of all the guests. 
Special shout ——
Ashlye and Evelyn-  kids club. Our daughter loved them and they had great interactions with the children
Monica Cruz- buffet. She was amazing. She always started our day with a great smile and mimosas. She became our morning server because of how great she was. 
Catalina - First Club- she was above amazing. She worked tirelessly to move my elderly mother from a room across the resort to close to us. Any issue we had she made sure to take care of it. She also gave advice about excursions. She also had a smile and weave when we walked into the first club. She is one of the reasons we are glad we are members and keep coming back to this resort.

Great resort with an amazing staff

Fantastic resort. In particular I would like to thank Ambrosio, Jorge,Miguel and Gilberto for their fantastic service at the Royal Level Restaurant. The staff were very attentive and the food was exceptional. I would certainly recommend this resort
