Great Traditional in a quiet position down the end of a gang. Large very clean rooms comfy beds in Asian standards with great pillows. Breakfast was basic but had everything you would usually expect eggs station, cereal fruit juice coffee etc. 2 large pools plenty of sun lounges and a great back gate that takes you to JL Benasari with fabulous Cafe's Warung & Massage and 5 minutes walk to Legian Street. Doing lots of upgrades but noise was minimal will definitely stay here again

Great Traditional Hotel tucked down a quite gang

We had never stayed here before and were quite surprised how quiet the hotel is given its location. The pool was very nice. Location is close to the beach walk shopping centre and eateries down the road.

I recently stayed here with my 2 teenagers for a 2-week holiday and let me tell you this place just keeps getting better. the old school Bali charm is amazing, and the rooms are really comfortable, the pools are perfect to cool you down after a walk through the streets grabbing a bargain. 
It has really good WIFI for the teens too!!!
the restaurant serves up get meals that we all enjoyed.  
The fact you can walk out the front to the beach or through the back entrance out to the back lane is a huge advantage also. 
The staff are fantastic, and nothing is an issue for them. Big shout out to Yuni and Putu on the front desk.

we will again be back as we love this place.

Another fantastic stay at a wonderful place

Stayed 8 nights in June 24.
Our experience was wonderful! From staff, room, cleanliness,  service,  pools, location and the old Bali ambience  it was lovely! 
The opportunity to swim nightly till 11pm in the pool next door (owned by same family) was a highlight!
We stayed in room 217 ( overlooking the main pool at front of hotel) i would recommend staying at front of hotel as there is construction being done at the back section and it can be noisy...
This is an older hotel but bern kept up nicely!  
I would highly recommend this hotel!

Just stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and 4 children aged 9-15 booked through the hotels website direct. Went to check in to be given the terms to sign and saw that it said 2 people per room but I'd booked for 3 in each room which hadn't been a problem when booking.
When I bought this up with the receptionist they informed me that children under 11 are expected to share their parents bed. 3 of my children are over that age so I checked that meant that 1 room had a rollaway like every other hotel we have stayed at to be told no and that 2 children don't get breakfast unless I want to pay extra for the rollaway and their breakfast.
I showed the receptionist my booking and the process of booking on the website that mentions this nowhere.
Their terms state children under 11 as above but this is only emailed with your confirmation in small writing underneath!
At 9pm after trying to sort this out as nowhere when I booked mentioned this and I've never come across this at any hotel we've stayed at over the years we ended up refusing to pay them the extra and sharing the beds but they did oh so kindly give the kids breakfast!
The beds are seriously firm and you can't roll over without waking up because they make so much noise. 1 of our rooms was OK other than the bed and the bathroom could do with a refresh. The other room the bed was the same but smaller even though we booked 2 of the same rooms and they were meant to be the better room.
Unfortunately the same as the whole place it really isn't the cleanest. Lots of sweeping seems to happen but it could seriously do with a mop around the whole hotel.
Rats seem to be out and about a bit too much, on the coffee table near the pool table and round behind the bar there to, they appeared quite a few times during in our 2 days stay.
Breakfast was much better day 2 but was all OK, could do with a little more selection, the omletes are lovely!
We ordered food one evening from the restaurant which was very nice and well priced. 
Pool towels are free from reception thankfully as we also weren't allowed extra bath towels for the rooms only the 2 provided!
Hotel is in an OK area plenty of restaurants and short walk to shopping centre. You do have a good few minute walk up an alleyway to get from the hotel to the main road though which in the dark I can't imagine is too nice.
The pool was lovely and nice and quiet so plenty of room for a swim.

Not great for families and unfortunately not very clean.

This hotel is located at Kuta Bali, only 3 minutes walk to the beautiful Kuta beach. Guests will find themselves just a short distance from a diverse selection of shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Walking to Legian Street takes around 5 minutes. Free shuttles bring guests to Legian Street and Kuta Square. The hotel offers 180 rooms decorated in Artistic Balinese style. Each room is fitted with a terrace or balcony, air conditioning, satellite TV, minibar and tea/coffee-making facilities. The on-site restaurant serves Malaysian, Indonesian and international dishes for lunch and dinner. Set among palm trees, The Beji Bar by the pond offers refreshing drinks in a relaxing setting. Cocktails are also available at the pool bars.
