Terrific in every way, and worth all the lavish reviews it gets. Among other things, their beds and pillows are the best we have ever slept in IMO, and this is across countries. Exceptional service, while being competitively priced for what it offers.

Terrific in every way - with the best bed and pillow to boot

We stayed there for 5 days and received amazing customer service making our trip amazing.

It was our first time in Bali and we went there for my birthday. At first check in was a bit slow but I think it's quite normal due to it being the weekend and lots of people.

Room was nice and spacious balcony as well.

Breakfast in the morning was amazing, lots of options and they even have a vegetarian/vegan area as well. The breakfast staff were so nicee

The hotel had two swimming pool which is really nice.

Lots of shop, restaurant and supermarket nearby

On my birthday we went out and when we came back they delivered flowers, cakes and more flower! Really brightens up the day. They also made a small elephant and I didn't bring my sunglasses out that day so they put it on the elephant and that was so cute. Thumbs up to the housekeeping team

Now I want to make a special segments for the front desk team, manager and guest relations team.

After our check out I realized that I forgot my camera charger and cable. I quickly send an email to the hotel and the management Ayu directly contacted me on WhatsApp. Fortunately, I had a friend going to Bali the next weekend so I asked him if it was possible to send it to my friend hotel and the team made it happened .

I have worked at a hotel before and I know how busy it can get especially during summer time so I really really appreciate that they took extra time to fulfill my request.

Best stay and amazing staff team

Booked 4 rooms, 3 ready on time and the other 1 hour late, reception staff great and we enjoyed the welcome from while we waited. Got to the rooms and then the calls started from family members. Dirty and stained linen in 3 rooms, one with what looked like blood on the sheets, someone else’s hair in bed  and towels stained, bins also not wiped on outside. Housekeeping called and all 3 rooms redone quickly and efficiently, I could expect maybe 1 room to be like this but 3 is just not an acceptable level of cleaning and care taking place. My room okay however only one PowerPoint works which is the kettle, desk lamp broken and exposed wires. Bamboo bar being renovated which we were unaware of. This is my 3rd stay here but probably my last. Staff lovely, pool nice and breakfast good but so was Mercure in February. I like the location. Such a shame that it is being let down by simple things like bad cleaning and maintenance

Probably won’t be back

Just returned from a six night break at this hotel. Good location on the beach front and some lovely restaurants within a short walk.
Two pools, plenty of eateries at the hotel with great service. Staff were all friendly and helpful too. We had a 3rd floor room overlooking a quiet garden area. We also used the onsite spa, which once again great staff & service.

In summary the resort is good value but just misses out on being great value because of some missed opportunities.

Ok, so I get that the resort is in the process of renovations, we didn't expect too much as we'd got a good deal and it was just a room to sleep in. So I'm not going to review the room, there's not much they can do about it until the renovations are done, but I will review the house cleaning service. We went with 2 other couples, and we all had the same complaint, each day we were chasing the room cleaning team for things that were missed, either toilet paper, towels, face washers, glasses.... One of my friends placed a small piece of paper on the floor to see if it would be swept up, it sat there for the whole week.

Now for the breakfast, Overall the buffet breakfast is really really good, however, if you want your coffee anything other than tepid drip filter, you'll have to specifically request it.

The adults pool tiles are really really smooth and slippery, be careful, and if you want a sun lounge you'll have to get there before 7am and either put a book on it from the counter or grab a towel if it's open, even though they're are signs saying not to reserve them. I personally observed several lounges that had towels on them and sat vacant until after lunch.

The only meal other than breakfast I ate at the resort was a pizza on the first day after arrival, it was ok but the base was a generic store bought item, with the toppings they had and the proper oven, if they used a hand made base they would be in competition with the Italian place down the street. 

Seriously, the basics are there, great grounds, location and entertainment and once the Reno's are finished the facilities will be a lot better, it's just the opportunities that are missed that let the place down.

So many opportunities.
