Room

We booked the pool room which was a great choice. Overall, a fantastic experience. Everything was great, including service, food and facilities. The resort is located on the nicest part of the beach and very close to restaurants and shopping. The only one thing that we missed is a bit more storage in the room, since we stayed for 5 nights. 

Outstanding Service, Great facilities, superb food! 10 on 10!

We stayed 10 nights. All staff were so attentive, friendly and made our stay so enjoyable. The variety of dining options, beachfront and outside areas available, made for a relaxing resort style vacation. Best spa experience and setting. We stayed in a ground floor private pool suite and it was a great choice for easy access and privacy. Will definitely return. Well done Centara Reserve!! 

A Stunning Resort

We stayed here for 8 nights in March. We booked a reserve ocean king room.

On arrival at the hotel, we were greeted in the most beautiful way and offered a lovely refreshing drink and snack followed by the hotels flower ritual. The lobby area is beautiful. 

We were quickly shown to our room and shown all the amenities. We were a little disappointed with the view over the children’s playground/kids club area buildings and asked if there were any other rooms. We were very quickly shown to another room which we were much happier with and moved quickly. For us spending a lot of time on a balcony, the view is important.

The pool areas are lovely and spacious and we  always managed to get a bed round the pool without us rushing or reserving. Service at the pool bar was great. Drinks are on the pricey side but I guess that is to be expected of a hotel of this standard.

The hotel grounds and communal areas are all beautiful. We had a walk to look around some other hotels I’d initially looked at and I definitely felt like we’d made the best choice.

The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food. We did sometimes have to wait for a table at breakfast but not too long. It would be nice if the hotel could make more room for tables outside. The area with the glass would get very hot and most people tried to avoid sitting here.

We used in room dining, Salt society and the gin run regularly and all were brilliant. 

The surprise of the day was a lovely touch and our little one couldn’t wait to answer the doorbell each day. The minibar was also amazing and re-stocked daily.

We say a couple of weddings at the hotel and I can see why, it’s such a beautiful setting. 

There are bars and restaurants nearby although I’d say this is the quieter end of things. To get to the livelier part of Chaweng was just 5 minutes in a taxi/shared truck. 

Would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for luxury in Koh Samui.

Stunning hotel, lovely little touches

- beautiful beach with prefect sunrise view point
- various activities everyday
- amazing food, including but not limited to breakfast buffet, try noodles, rice soup and secret menu; wagyu steaks, traditional Thai course (Tom Yum soup) and desserts!
- hospitality General Manager with handsome appearance, a great sense of humour and fine tease of the restaurants

Fabulous time with family and friends

We’ve just spent 5 nights at this gorgeous hotel. We are a family of 4 and had a Deluxe Ocean Twin for our 2 adult kids plus a larger Reserve Ocean King for my husband and myself. This was a perfect combo for a family of 4. 
From the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed. The lobby is absolutely stunning and check in was smooth and efficient. All the staff are friendly and helpful.  The General Manager, Neil deserves special mention. He is ever present with a calm manner, huge smile and ready to organise any requests. He is fairly new to the hotel but he is clearly doing an amazing job, making every guest feel special.  It was my birthday the day we arrived and I had a lovely surprise when we came back from dinner (see photos ).  Also special mention to Big who gave my husband some advice for his back pain. 

We had a choice of the main pool with swim up bar and the quieter adults pool and liked to switch between them.  We used the gym a lot and it has great equipment. Also yoga class was excellent
. 
If you stay here on a Sunday then you must go to the Salt Society brunch. This restaurant is beach side and has a top class buffet with live music. Such a good vibe! Come hungry!
