Our only regret is we didn’t stay here longer.

Unfortunately our time at Outrigger was limited as we were only passing through Koh Samui, however we will definitely be returning in the future and staying here for longer. 

We were welcomed at reception with the introduction to the hotel app, a convenient way to order items to your room and to book activities and treatments as well as making reservations at the hotel restaurant. 

Our room was very modern and stylish which came with a JBL speaker I was able to connect to and feel right at home. The hotel had a colonial feel about it in terms of style which was grand with luscious gardens leading up to the main buffet and pool area. 

There was a peaceful pool area inside the grounds of the main hotel with another pool, aimed more at families over the road at the hotel’s own private beach bar and restaurant. 

The hotel offers a variety of activities throughout the day, every day, including: candle making, meditation, football and more! As well as a list of activities for children. On site is also a kids club and a games room featuring pool table, air hockey and table tennis as well as a gym and massage facilities.

The location was fantastic and only a 5 minute drive away or a 25 minute walk from the main Lamai beach area where we enjoyed cheap cocktails and excellent food.

As stated, we will definitely be returning here for longer next time so we can take full advantage of the facilities and activities that are on offer

Outrigger it was our last moment choice and we actually booked our stay the nite before we arrived . Staff very friendly and helpful. Prompt check in . We were explained everything by the receptionist . Our room was ready even we arrived early. Brilliant big spacious room with 2 TV . We are family of four , so  it was absolutely great . Breakfasts simple but you can get there whatever you might want for breakfast from europe to thai flavours . Great service . Looks like staff knows what to do , so all goes smooth . We were on HB option so, breakfast and lunch or dinner depending on your preferences . It was surprising but lunches and dinners were all a'la carte no the buffet style. Food tasty and service quick however some of the staff has very little english. The pool area is nice . Part for non swimmers, children and adults .I do not know if this pools are enough for all the guests during the high season but for us in May was perfect. Showers and always clean rest rooms available .The waiters roaming  all the time there asking the guests if they want to order some food and drinks. Nice touch which I could not experience in the previous not 4 star but 5 star resort. Room was cleaned every day always top class. I would suggest to leave couple of THB for the housekeeping . They really do hard work there. Hotel is well located with 7 Eleven next door what is great. Not fat to the nite market jus 15 min walk. Washing service , car and scooter rental just on the corner . You can find there also few local small thai restaurants. Unfortunately the beach in front to the hotel is not great ...low tide shows all you do not want to see ... so we were going to different part of Lamai bech . We were surprised with the level of service in positive way . Property is nice and well organised. Air conditioned Kindergarden , table tennis , snooker and laser guns range activity is also available. We had a good time there . Thank you to Kevin at the reception who looked after us exceptionally well.

The staff are the friendliest that you could hope for and really made our holiday special. The pool area was great and we had dinner outside each night in a relaxed atmosphere.
The breakfast was great and we really enjoyed the banter with the staff, their smiles lift your spirit.
I can’t remember everyone’s names and apologies to those I miss however the following people were excellent in helping us- Khun Kawee, Khun Nate, Khun Earn, Khun Mino, Khun Ice, Khun Beer, Khun Mino, Khun Mui, Khun Noot, Khun Tukta, Khun Audi and Khun Jira from the Food and Beverage department and Khun Sea, Norbert, Khun Non, Khun View, Khun Sao, Khun Arisa and Khun Safe from the Front Office and Voyager 47 department as well as Khun Tom and Khun Bes from the Recreation department.

Happy and relaxing

Lovely location, there is a road in between hotel accommodation and most of resort pools and bar, but there is staff to stop the traffic to enable you to cross the road safely.
Beautiful staff, especially Joy the housekeeper, kept us supplied with bottled water every day, made me feel very special while celebrating my Birthday, and Sao at the Voyager 47/club she was so kind and attentive.

60th Birthday Celebration

First time guest at an Outrigger branded hotel through a 10 night package deal which incorporated breakfast, dinner, free flow cocktails for 2 hours and a 90 minute massage. The hotel architecture is colonial style (just beautiful) and well maintained.
We took advantage of the gym on numerous occasions which was always clean, organised with complimentary towels and filtered water.
Daily breakfast was satisfactory and can definitely recommend an omelette  from Chef Parn. Dinner at Edgewater was very good with a huge menu to select from and a fantastic barbeque buffet and fire show on Saturday evening.
Staff throughout the hotel are very friendly, accommodating and go out of their way to make your stay special. 
Our room was spotless, daily water supplied with internet speed acceptable. The only minor gripe we had was the firmness of the beds and pillows .... just too hard for those side sleepers out there.
Overall we had a fantastic stay at Koh Samui and we will definitely be back again .... what a fabulous resort 😊
