Pool

We have never booked a package before, but we are so happy that we took the chance!  Pavilion Samui were great!  I had a couple of questions before the trip which were answered quickly & a surprise for hubby was set up!  Even when our flights were delayed, there was no problem with the airport pick up and our welcome at Pavilion Samui late in the evening was very warm!  We even managed to take advantage of a late dinner.  The Restaurant staff were so friendly and efficient - thanks Rom and Ting - and were happy to assist with any polite request!  Even the beach security for the resort collected glasses from the beach! As we had Lunch or Dinner included every day and we were so busy enjoying the beach li-lo’s and our plunge pool that we had dinner every night (bar one) of our stay.  We celebrated our wedding anniversary and with the Romantic Dinner on the Beach organised as a surprise for hubby, the set up was beautiful!  Even a photographer was tasked with taking photos!  We were gifted with a framed photo on checking out which bought tears to my eyes, it was so sweet!

So very relaxing!

Recently spent 8 nights at Pavilion Resort Ko Samui Thailand.......this property is spectacular and so are the staff BUT do not go to Thailand in the month of April....its the low season when there are supposedly fewer tourists but the heat was intense. It was impossible to be on the beach or in the pool from 0730 to 1800.

The hotel is nice and well designd, the pools are great and the location is perfect ( in lamai) the first room we got - plunge pool was nice but the Aircon dript all night, they sent someone to try and fix it with no luck, the day after we got an upgrade, mysr day the rooms are are small do not fit families.

The review 

Booked through luxury escapes - a 2 star hotel at best. Paid extra for beachfront room - bedroom walls blistering from water ingress, frayed and stained bathroom towels, silicon bogged walls and windows in bathroom with broken door handles, broken indoor furniture outside (nothing like the photos in the pictures), mould in pool. Wrote to luxury escapes afterwards as was disappointed at the standard of the hotel and the hotel has denied these things were a  problem. Have a look at the photos! You will also get a restricted menu if you book the luxury escapes package with your three course desert one scoop of icecream. The food was lovely but the hotel may have been nice at one point but needs major work.

2 star hotel

Lovely resort on a beautiful stretch of beach. Nice pools and good choice of foods for breakfast and lunch/dinner. We booked through luxury escapes and it was very good value. There is a special menu for luxury escape guests but there was still good selection. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We did have a problem with our air conditioner that could not be fixed (hydro pool room). We therefore got an upgrade to a premium pool villa which was very nice. Both of the room types we stayed in were very clean and well maintained. Massage was very good. Thanks for having us, would definitely recommend.

Lamai beach resort

This luxurious boutique hotel is nestled in a beautiful resort surrounded by stunning gardens that blend with the fantastic landscape of the area. It lies just on Lamai Beach, the second most famous beach after Chaweng, although far enough to avoid the noisy touristic gathering. Good local and international restaurants can be found on the main road strip which during the night turns into a vibrant and very active area. It is the perfect stay for couples or guests that wish to relax and enjoy a peaceful holiday as well.
