General view

Beautiful view from the villas. Was clean and had a nice restaurant. Is placed pretty high in the mountains, so you need always a car to get up and down. It’s nice if you need to lie at the poll and just relax. But in our villa there was not much sun in the pool area. It’s not a place I would bring children. Staff was kind and helpful.

Sandel wood

An amazing stay at Sandalwood, a very special hotel to me. I was here 10 years ago and it’s just as beautiful. All the staff are so friendly and cannot do more for you. It’s sparkling clean, the view you cannot beat. They offer a free shuttle to two different beaches throughout the day. Cannot fault my stay.

I have been going to Sandalwood, luxury resorts on Ko Samui several times over 20 years. I go back because everything there is always a surprise… Better than I remember from the moment I see this smiling face at the airport holding up a sign with my name on it is always a relief after a long flight. By the time I make it to my room, I am in a cocoon of beauty, attention to detail, that makes me feel special there. Every room is different and has its own personality and view. There is an attention to your privacy in every room. Most villas have private pools. The gardens are magnificent The integration of rooms and environment is inspired. I love the Blue  Ginger restaurant on the grounds with its tasty menu and stellar views. It’s a perfect place for a honeymoon or a family. I have always loved the staff as they are warm and attentive. There is a feeling of family there. The views of the island from Sandalwood are riveting; Birds Eye vistas reveal Chaweng and Coral Cove Beach with the ever-changing colorful sea.. often I extend my stay here because I love it so much. I will be back to Sandalwood.

Inspired views, beautiful rooms and grounds, wonderful food, service, and always memorable

The sea view location and our room was exceptional. All the staff, specially Fah were extraordinarily helpful and hospitable. The Blue Ginger restaurant food was also very good. Breakfast was plentiful. A wonderful experience of 6 nights. Definitely worth recommending to friends and family.

Heavenly Stay at Sandalwood

Excellent property. We stayed at the 3-bedroom villa with private pool and it was luxurious. The view was lovely. Clean and spacious and plenty of amenities. The staff was helpful. It's a great property but there are stairs involved as it's on the side of a cliff. So may not be suitable for seniors and people who have trouble with climbs. The resort restaurant has great food and the spa and massage parlour did an excellent job. Very well trained professionals. Will definitely visit again.
