Pool

We picked the hotel for its rooftop infinity pool which did not disappoint but unfortunately the front desk staff were somewhat cold and the room was a bit of a disappointment therefore only 4 stars. Another gripe was only 2 tiny pillows for a huge king size bed. Don’t be so stingy. Plus in a few places it needed a lick of paint.

The Gig Hotel

I actually didn’t not choose this hotel before trip.  My initial hotel was disguised as hotel by Agoba but was a nasty guys apartment.  We refused to stay, so I had to find new one.  The Gig Hotel was like a 100 yards away, and what a treasure it turned out to be.  The price was amazing for this hotel first off.  The room was extremely clean and not old or worn out.  The bed is on firm side, but I slept amazing and quick all 11 days.  The service was really good at front desk, restaurant, pool, and cleaning crew.  No problems or issues.  The pool might be best in Patong Beach.  It was an infinity pool on roof.  The sunsets up there are amazing. We were floored our first visit to pool, and it is hard to put into words.  The breakfast buffet has limited choices and short time frame, but menu changes daily.  We actually looked forward to breakfast ever morning though.  The food was great.  The location is as good as it gets.    It is literally 100 yards from Bangla Rd, and probably 250 yards to beach.  Food choice, massage parlors, and convenience stores even closer.  The greatest part is you near the action, but far enough away to feel secluded.  The hotel is behind building on main roadway.  Truly a hidden gem.

Great place to experience Phuket from.

Great location with a rooftop pool & bar over looking the beach. Idk why I had not chance upon this hotel given that I've been to Phuket countless times. Everything's so great. Personal Preference - both pillows & bed are too firm to my likining.  I highly recommend that the management into upgrading / changing the sunbeds entirely. Handful of them old & dirty.

Having said that, The Gig Hotel will be my go-to hotel hereon after! Thank you for the birthday surprise at my doorstep! Kudos to the team! 

The penthouse was the dopest one we have ever stayed in. Private pool, fridge, king-sized beds… Everything was so perfect. I would recommend this place because it is conveniently located in the local marketplace, Patong Street and Patong Beach, as well as a shopping centre with numerous restaurants.

This property is 4 minutes walk from the beach. A short walk from both Jungceylon Shopping Centre and Bangla Road, The Gig Hotel features a rooftop pool and a restaurant. Free WiFi is available.

Rooms include air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a minibar and a balcony. The en suite bathroom has a shower and free toiletries.

There is a 24-hour front desk at the property and staff can assist with tour information.

The beach is less than a 10-minute walk away and many shops are in the surrounding area. Phuket International Airport is a 1-hour drive from The Gig Hotel.
