Pool

We booked a family room for four people including 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a large salon. The hotel is very good with a good location. The service in general is good. The staff is attentive and friendly. The beach and swimming pool are clean and well managed. Lots of good restaurants nearby. I advice it.

I like it

I decided on DLG after researching on Trip Advisor and Hotels.com and have to agree with the negative reviews.  This does not seem like a 5 star hotel.  The hallways and room (when we first entered) were like a sauna.  We thought the AC was broken but luckily it cooled down after leaving the AC on for 2 hours.  The fridge was broken so we had to get ice to cool our drinks.  The pin for the toilette paper was gone so every time you used the toilette paper, it would roll out of the dispenser.  It seemed as if the room hadn't been used in awhile, otherwise these things would've been caught before we checked in.  The design of the bathroom was poor; shower door has to be swung open (as it's too small to open inward), getting water all over the floor, there wasn't enough room to fit the shampoo, conditioner and soap dispenser in the wall shelf, so they either had to be stacked or one had to go on the floor.  The products they used didn't seem higher end and it would've been nice to have some bath salts, loofah, etc.  The breakfast didn't compare to the other 4 and 5 star hotels that we stayed in (there were many options, but the quality wasn't as good).  Beyond that, the furniture and carpeting were dated.  I wouldn't be so picky if this weren't a 5 star hotel, but given the price and the rating, I was expecting more. 

With that being said, they did decorate our room for our honeymoon.  The bed, bedding and extra pillows were very comfortable and we slept well.  The AC kept the room cool once it stayed on.  The pool was refreshing.  It was nice to be able to borrow bikes (although they were pretty run down) to ride along the beach.  The gym seemed well equipped even though we didn't have a chance to use it.  I was able to pay 30% extra to have a later check out at 3pm.  

Pros: location, bed, free bike rental
Cons: dated hotel, broken fridge, price

I and my family had really good experience at DLG hotel, the service very good with free afternoon tea and breakfast with many choices for my family, the staff at the loby very nice; professional staff Duyen; Linh; Yen, Trinh; Duong; Thanh, we will be back

Good service

Everything was perfect, the staff was really nice and caring! The location is nice if you want to go to the beach a lot, the city centre is a bit far away. The hotel also has two really
nice pools and the breakfast was delicious varying every day.

My family has 4 nights at DLG hotel on 12 floor with wonderful sea view, i want to give a special shoutout to the reception team name is Jas, Linh and Duyen who were not just professional but exceptionally warm and helpful throughout my stay.....
