General view

People need to stop booking this hotel. It isn’t fit for purpose and the lack of food safety is shocking. 
Uncooked meats, using the same cooking utensils for raw and cooked meats. Bare hands ripping meat apart. 
The place is run down and quite frankly a S hole. 

Sinners uncomfortable and ant nests all around stained flooring tiles all missing from the pool risking cut feet. 

Extra charges for rubber rings at the beach club. 
Extra charges for slushies 
Extra charges for popcorn 

Food is SHOCKING the only thing edible was packaged/wrapped muffins. Everything else was either uncooked, cold or out of date. See picture attached

People seriously need to avoid booking here and if you have already try change because I repeat the place is not fit for purpose and will ruin your well deserved break.

Should be closed down!!

Awful hotel with incredibly poor food and drink.
Awful queues.
Scruffy pool area.
Entertainment mostly aimed at young children.
Very noisy.
Room basic.
Not suitable for older guests with limited mobility. 
Had a miserable week here and would not go back.

Very Very Basic

Firstly, a huge thank you to Susana who ensured our young son with food allergies got hot and safe meals every day. She really put our mind at ease and was so lovely and professional.
Despite my son's many allergies, he had huge portions of whatever he ordered each day, cooked separately and brought out quickly when we arrived at the restaurant each meal.
This was WONDERFUL and not something every hotel would do.

I also had a 5* massage from Maria in the lovely spa.

Room were clean and spacious. Hotel is very clean inside and lovely reception.

Stunning views of the sea/coast from the main restaurant.

A/c worked really well to keep the room comfortable.

Animation team really nice and friendly. In fact, all staff were brilliant. Always a smile on their face and really kind to the kids.

I liked the yoghurt / fruit puree fridge in the buffet, as well as the pre packaged muffins as these were labelled. It's usually impossible to find safe food for allergy sufferers in a buffet!

Sadly, this is where the good points end.

My whole family had a sickness bug for 2 days. May have been from the food (raw meat seen once and meals were generally cold) or from the fact that everyone is crammed into the one shallow pool.
I heard many people were also ill.
This really ruined the holiday for us unfortunately. 

The buffet food isn't great although I appreciate the effort of the "theme nights" and the Spanish night was especially good, with live dancing and music.

Entertainment starts at 10pm which is a joke considering this is a family hotel. We never got to see it as we had the kids asleep.

Playground is small but okay.

Mini golf was fun for the 20 minutes it takes but there's no shade.

The "water park" is a bit of a trek in the heat and doesn't have much going for it. The way it's designed, you can't keep an eye on the kids at all. Use of the rings for a day is like 10 or 15 euro which is steep.

Any cocktails I ordered were not nice tasting and came pre made.

The shop is well stocked with snack foods, clothes, gifts etc. Food isn't cheap though.

It was nice to have the kitchenette in the room. There's a tiny freezer which takes time to get to low temperatures. We had muffins which took 24 hours to freeze.

Lifts constantly in use and only hold one buggy, so you're always waiting for one.

The main bed is actually 2 beds joined together which keep coming apart. Really not good for co sleeping.

The kid's bed was a fold out sofa.

Shower is high pressure but you literally have to get your hair wet which isn't something I want to do every shower. Bath was very nice and filled up quickly.

Kids aren't allowed in the small soft play with their parents; parents have to leave them at the door.

Everything in the arcade has to be paid for, which I suppose is understandable. We paid €6 for a 2 player game of bowling which was fun.

Fantastic staff but everything else a let down

Massive let down unfortunately. The potential is definitely there to see but the place needs to be maintained in many different areas. We came away thinking how is this place a 4* rated holiday and why have we paid as much as we did. 

When we got on the bus and it dropped us off here, we thought ok this is really nice. You’re welcomed by a fabulous lobby / reception area. Honestly it’s beautiful and the size is impressive. This is where the buzz started to fade. 

Would we return or recommend this hotel/ complex — absolutely not. 
Theres better, cheaper and more value for money elsewhere. 

Location - absolutely in the middle of nowhere. Now the complex has security gates which is a positive but that’s it. There’s nothing near by and walking to the beach is up/down extremely steep terrain which is not suitable for young children/families and older people. We spent over €200 euros on transportation alone to the local towns / trips, it was roughly €10-15 euro each way.  If you’re happy not leaving the complex then that’s fine but like others have said, the itinerary is relative and late (more about that further down). 

Food- plain and simple it’s awful. Meats were clearly not cooked and the nasty cheap food on offer was repetitive and bland. My daughter who loves pasta had enough. By day 5 we didn’t want to eat food and just eat what we could. Stayed at 2* hotels that have served better quality food than this place. 

Drinks - again like others have stated, the cocktails are premixed in jugs and honestly taste like petrol with some juice. Tried a number of them but all taste the same. No clear list what is available/ not available without a cost but nasty. Soft drinks were branded which was a positive but water was pumped so likely to be tap water. Had to purchase water from shops. 

Rooms - these are comfortable enough but again they are run down. The bath has been patched up far too many times, the shower stings you and the rooms look run down/ maintained by someone who’s never done a day of DIY.  Definitely not up to a 4* standard. Staff did clean these daily but they need to be better maintained. 

Water park / facilities. - now this was one of the reasons we selected this hotel when we booked. Some of this dangerous and again hidden cost. No one explains that you have to pay to rent a rubber ring to use the slides which are poor. Paying as much as we have this should be included. Not comfortable leaving belongs on your beds as no way to keep sight on them and parts of the pool coming away, lining completely not attached to the walls. Shambles. Pool is ok but sun loungers are fixed in one position and many are cracked/ damaged and not fit to be used. The mini golf is collapsing in areas and cemented poorly back together and the kids outdoor play area is run down/worn. Now the areas were clean I have to emphasise that staff did clean but it’s the equipment worn and not replaced maintained correctly. 

Entertainment- there is definitely no budget for this. These guys tried so hard to entertain the guests but it was the same stuff day after day. Evening entertainment was not great and as much as i appreciate it’s not the singers fault, karaoke singers have sounded better than some of tv see guys.

Wouldn’t return/ recommend

The hotel was lovely even though it had gone down since our last few visits. The food was awesome even if a little tepid at times. The rooms are suites so very spacious and cleaned every day. Pool  and surrounding area area was great ,plenty of beds and parasols. On the down side although our family was very polite to the staff had the feeling they didn't like us Brits very much. As soon as the Spanish people were on the seen there demeanor changed. This was the first time I  have felt this unfriendliness towards me in my 50yrs of going to and loving Spain.

Disappointed.
