Pool

We have spent a week at the drago park and are getting ready to check out in the morning. 
I can honestly say it should not be rated 3 star!
The pool area is about the nicest thing at the hotel.
The rooms are basic and lacking in cleanliness, the floors don’t get swept all week there people with broken glass that hasnt moved. The floor tiles in the room are cracked and move when you walk on them and the rooms don’t have a fridge to keep anything cool. the main corridors have rubbish that’s never been cleaned.
The staff don’t seem to be interested in anything when you speak to them and just pretend to not understand.
The only staff member who works is Lillian in the kids club and that’s because she’s on her own dealing with kids from 3-13 
The food on the whole is basic with chicken nuggets being the staple food of everyone’s diet. 
Despite people raising issues with dietary requirements the food doesn’t change and tonight we were served raw chicken kebabs. 
The local takeaway makes a fortune off the hotel guests. 
When I say the local takeaway, local means a 20 minute walk as the hotel is not near any amenities.  The local town when you get there is poor when it comes to entertainment with 2 spar shops and 2 tourist shops, there is no nighttime entertainment
Which is needed as the kids disco and poor karaoke in the vinegar smelling bar is nothing to right home about. 
If we had paid for a kids place I would be wanting a refund for the food we have had to buy outside the hotel to feed our child.
In regard to the beach the bus dumps you on the Main Street and it’s still a walk to the beach. 
Shame everyone here this week has the same views the hotel could be nice

Poor and not 3 star

What a wonderful place! We stayed 1 week and would love to visit again. We were very nervous at first as 3 of us hadn’t been abroad in a very long time, the welcome we received on our first morning from the Entertainment team was enough to put any nerves to rest. 

There’s a great selection of foods and drinks that are served from 8am to 9pm. Ranging from squid wrings to chicken nuggets, our fussy eater didn’t go starving. 

The pool is very big! I’m just under 6 foot and an awful swimmer but found it easy to walk and cool off when the sun was out. Everyday the entertainment crew hosted water aerobics and water sports for all ages. If you aren’t a swimmer, there’s plenty of activities. There’s a football court, children’s play park, table tennis, pool tables and a few Spanish games which I can’t remember the name of. 

There’s plenty of sun beds so nobody has to rush in the morning to reserve them with a towel. 

During the evening there’s a bar with two TVs and loads of seating. There’s a kids club which seemed to be a big hit. Apparently, there’s some adult entertainment past 9pm but I didn’t stay up for it so I won’t comment on that.

The bedroom was very clean, fresh towels were provided every day when we asked for them. The bed was comfy, balcony has two seats and a mini table. Also includes a smart TV, a big wardrobe with a fair few hangers, sofa, spacious bathroom which wasn’t working for just a few hours of our 7 days. That was very quickly resolved when my mum brought it to receptions attention. 

The hotel isn’t in the best of locations, they do provide a shuttle bus to the beach which is free. However, with the nice weather we enjoyed a 20 minute walk to the beach. The local town of Morro Jable has some quality shops. It’s a very short journey by bus or taxi. 

We left on the 27th and I just haven’t stopped thinking about it. I had to create a trustpilot account just to give this marvellous hotel a review it deserves!

I can’t wait to go abroad again thanks to all of the wonderful staff! If it wasn’t for my family wanting to explore as many places as possible we would be returning tomorrow!

The Perfect Holiday!

Nice spacious hotel. Great for families. Evening selection of hot food was poor. Breakfast and lunch selection was standard. Noisy/unruly older children showed lack of respect with foul language and noise until 1.30am - poor parenting! Wouldn't choose to go in the school holidays as they will run wild! Hit and miss it you got tea and coffee making facilities in your room (some guests said they had it and others not) and no fridge. Be warned the beds are like concrete!
The nicer beach is a good walk but shuttle is useful although this could really be run more frequently. Resort is extremely limited with a few shops but little else. Local bus service available to take you further afield. There is a bigger resort, Morro Jable, further down the coast.

Spacious hotel on a windy island!

Just got back from a weeks holiday at the Suneo Dragon park hotel. The hotel is clean the staff are all friendly. The pool area is the best part of the hotel that has entertainment thoughout the day for all the family to enjoy. There was no worry about getting a sun bed as there are plenty to choose from. The kids entertainment was good but were it takes place needs revamping as it’s extremely out dated and there is no air conditioning. The food wasn’t the best and some of the meat was still raw. The hotel is out the way however you can get a free bus to the beach but there is nothing really at the place the bus takes you too that’s worth going there for. The best part of the holiday was Lorenzo and the team they were so enthusiastic and energetic made the holiday enjoyable honestly you guys were a joy to watch and Lorenzo you are just the best hope to see you again but at a different hotel.

Food 2 out of 5, Beef stew with potatoes, various paella, chicken drumsticks in some type of stew ( every day) , I was lucky that I liked salad, granola, fruit .Crockery , eating utensils dirty, not checked when they have come out of the dish washer, when mentioned to staff they just hunched their shoulders, one knife was disgusting and when handed to them they just put it on another table, not interested, the napkins some times had already been used.Hotel cleanliness 3 out of 5 dependent on where in the hotel you where, room was always tidy but this varied on whom did your room. Hotel staff not helpful possibly due to my nationality, they couldn’t understand ( one night the noise was horrendous outside room, possibly skip delivery or taking away when asked- just told couldn’t understand what I was saying)Entertainment team 4 out of 5 , they tried very hard, kids rep had too many children - no age restriction or time split, maybe this should happen, some days she needed parents to help, some parents just let their children run riot while they drank and lay in the sun
I knew there wasn’t much to da around the hotel but thought that the shuttle bus to the beach area would have run more, I also didn’t expect it to be has hilly.
In general I was disappointed with the hotel and feel that some work needs to be done to up grade it- food being the main area

The food let this hotel down. There wasn’t enough staff and those that were there looked like they didn’t want to be
