I am currently staying at this hotel at the point of publishing this review. We checked in quite late so didn’t get to see what was about as we hired a car due to friends having stayed in the resort saying there isn’t much to do about town. After getting to the room it wasn’t what we expected at all. As soon as you entered you were overwhelmed with a smell of cigarette smoke and after venting the room we believed it was actually coming from the AC which hardly works and constantly needs left on. The one good side is the beds are actually quite comfy however i have never been somewhere that the bathroom isn’t tiled and has some sort of wall paper which is hanging off with all the moisture from the hot shower. Another thing to note is the shower itself is horrendous at no point in time can it maintain an accurate heat and will change temperature throughout your shower. Don’t put kids in as it literally scolding hot!!! Even when you try have it cold. After having a shower i had new clothes laid out however when I went to pick up the old ones there was an extreme amount of white powder which I don’t know what it is Every time anything touched the floor in the toilet.

When you see the images the room itself is outdated, the furniture is either damaged or extremely dirty. To the point we left our things in the suitcases as who knows where you were putting your socks. 

In the morning going to breakfast it was very easy to find and there were plenty seats however once again everything was outdated. You took your seats and when you walk in see one or two members of staff clearing tables and even that difficult as there were multiple tables needing cleaned that were just left as they had a catchup at the back of the dining area. Your first hit with your drinks selection coffee machine was a tad dirty however it didn’t disappoint and with a cold beverage of apple juice the machine dispensed an extremely dark looking apple juice to which i told a member of staff and they said not to use it so maybe it needed refilling or something however it completely put me off. When going up to the area to eat it was your typical setup but once again all outdated. There was a toasting machine that looked older than me and took at least 3 attempts before one side would actually toast and then you would need to flip it and go again. When getting to the breakfast area i saw one of the cooks pull out bacon from the kitchen and immediately went over to get something fresh. However, within minutes it was cold the beans, scrambled egg and sausages were freezing no wonder there were multiple microwaves around which were messy and very old looking. White had changed to yellow 🫣

This completely put us off and immediately drive to the local spar to purchase some items. As there is no cooking areas in the room we decided to get some cereal and there were bowls left over from the salads they left out due to late check in which were immediately binned and must have been sitting in our warm room for hours. However there were no spoons so after going to reception and asking they said they can’t hand them out and refused to give me one spoon to eat cereal. So once again went out and purchased cutlery and you couldn’t take food in to the restaurant or take cutlery out.

However, we are halfway through the holiday and will see if it gets any better but this experience has been the worst and the room is filth compared to how the picture portray the place.

Not happy at all and will never be back

No good at all!

I had reservations about this hotel before I got there after reading the reviews but decided to give it the benefit of the doubt.  I really wish I had trusted my gut instinct!

Rooms:
On arrival the room was spacious and comfortable.  Towels and a shower mat in the bathroom.  However there were some various dubious 'stains' on the wall paper around the toilet.

The first day the room was cleaned, or rather the bed was made and the towels replaced with just one bath towel and one hand towel.  
If you have long hair the hand towel is not sufficient to wrap your hair up.  And no shower mat.  I am still amazed that no one has had an accident in the room as the floor in the bathroom was extremely slippy.  I rang down to reception to request more towels and a shower mat.  The Housekeeper came up about 45 minutes later with another bath and hand towel and insisted they did not have shower mats. 

The second day my room was not cleaned at all; bed not made and no towels. Again another call to reception for more towels. 

Day 3 - change of towels but there were trainer footprints all over the bathroom floor and in the entrance to my room where someone had mopped the floor and then walked all over it with dirty feet.  This time I went to reception and requested that my room was cleaned properly that night. Thankfully this did happen, however the towel situation was hit and miss during the rest of week. 

Food:
To be fair the food was not as bad as some of the reviews I read suggested. It was very repetitive and I did not see any theme nights as suggested but we didnt go hungry. 

Entertainment: During my week, I only saw the Entertainment guy 3 times going round the pool speaking to guests.  The daytime entertainment he was offering was ...
1. Guess what card I am holding in my hand
2. Guess how balls are in the jar
3. Guess how many lollipop sticks are in the jar.

And if you won, you got a ...cocktail!  Great when you are already all inclusive!

Spa:  I did get a free pass with Jet2 to the Spa but chose not to use it during the daytime.  However there was talk around the pool that the lady who ran the spa for customers to collect to their towels from for around the spa was really rude and would not open until 9am to serve them. 

Staff; There was not a lot of staff at the holiday and they seemed to alternative jobs (between serving behind the bar and then waiting on in the restaurant).  Apart from 2 or 3 the majority of them looked really unhappy and certainly like they did not want to be there.  This became even more evident in there unfriendliness towards the guests. 

Noise;  Over the weekend the hotel seem to turn into an 18-24's holiday with groups of this age group coming over for a long weekend.  Saturday night in particular was a nightmare for other guests, as there was lots of screaming, shreiking, running up and down the corridors and banging on doors.  Luckily I had taken ear plugs and had to use them around 12.30 at night.  Another of guests after  complaining to reception had resorted to pushing tissue paper into his ears to drown out the noise. 

Coming down to breakfast the following morning, the reception and balcony was carnage.  Seat cushions were strewn across the floor, cigarette ash and butts were everywhere; on tables, on the floor, on the chairs, in fact everywhere but the ashtrays. It was disgusting. 

Around the pool music was played daily.  However these groups of 18-24 had also brought their own music and at any time after 11am when they had risen there were probably 4-5 different forms of music playing loudly throughout the day. Guests complained to the pool attendant but he did not ask them to turn theirs off, even though there were signs up saying not to play your own music. 

As the hotel was being sold as a spa and place of well being, one would expect a calm and relaxing hotel and facilities.  If this is the sort of holiday you were hoping for, do not book this hotel. 

Jet2 rep: Having arrived on the Thursday, the reps first visit to the hotel was not until the Monday.  She was 20 minutes late to the hotel and her apology was that she had been pulled over by the police on her way to the hotel.  
I went to see her about the cleanliness of  my room and the noise inside the hotel and around the pool as this was not the type of holiday I paid for.  Her response was for me to make a complaint when I returned to the UK .  After showing her photos of the stained walls in the bathroom, dirty shoe footprints on my bathroom floor, and of how dirty when feet were having walked around my room barefoot, she  then went on to say she would call me back that afternoon with a response.  The return phone call did not happen until the following afternoon and by I had then already spoken to the reception. 

Several other guests were complaining to the manager throughout the holiday and his response was that he was not bothered as it would not stop people booking to go there.

All in all the holiday was not what I or numerous other guests had signed up for. Thankfully I met some lovely people whilst I was there but I would not recommend this hotel or its facilities to anyone.

Not a relaxing hotel as described...

I booked this holiday without checking the reviews , a couple of days before I arrived I checked them and seen a lot of bad reviews, I was worried at first but on arrival I was greeted by the lovely staff, my room was beautiful absolutely nothing wrong with it, the cleaners did a lovely job every day always cleaning the floors, bathrooms making the beds, the bar and reception staff was lovely very friendly, 
I only went to entertainment twice in a week as I’m alone , i was just breakfast not all inclusive I really enjoyed breakfast the hashbrowns was my favourite! 
I mainly walked around , spent days at the beach and had evening meals out, 
I also attended oasis wildlife on my last day:) €5 for the bus, I paid £33 online for my ticket (adult) and I went alone and absolutely loved it, it’s a quiet area but I just wanted to chill and relax and I found some lovely little bars and places to eat. 

I have nothing bad to say about my stay, I thought it was great, thank you for making my holiday better by just being so friendly and always helping with any questions I had!

Lovely staff and hotel.

Well I have been away many times over the last few years but this has got to be the worse holiday , location was poor with nothing really close by , food was cold 90% of the time and terrible variety, snack bar was the same food every day burgers like leather , white hot dogs and cold chips  , beds so uncomfortable and terrible pillows , 2 bar for the whole hotel , 1 by the snack bar 11-6 and lobby bar 18.30 - 23.00, gym was out of order while I was there as they was waiting for equipment , 3 good points it’s very clean and lovely staff and the pools was spotless…..

Try another hotel if I am honest

We're here at the moment. Food is bloody awful. No staff around in the restaurant. Everything is cold and had to be out in the microwave! No taste and doesn't look appealing.  🤢
Pool area is not cleaned properly, dirty plates and glasses from the previous day/night. 
No toilet paper, paper towels or soap in the public toilets by the pool.
The towels in the room are all old and freyed and have holes in them. 
Not a good hotel at all. Jet2 you need to assess this hotel. Bloody awful. The bad reviews are all true unfortunately!  Wouldn't come here again! 😔😔

Don't bother coming here. Change your hotel asap
