Not a bad hotel, good location, staff are friendly and price wasn’t too bad. 

Checking in was very efficient, very nice chap in reception explained everything to us really well. Once checked in we were on 4th floor and shown the lift - to get to the lift you have to go up a flight of stairs with your cases. Ok for us but I think less abled people would struggle. 

We booked 2 rooms, a junior suite and a sea view. Nice that they put the rooms close together. We went all inclusive. You have to wear a band and give your room number whenever you order drinks, regardless of what you ask for. 

Rooms: the junior suite was huge, lots of space. But honestly wasted space; one wardrobe and a lot of floor space. Nice to have a sofa and couple of chairs. The balcony was the same size as the smaller sea view. Was hoping the balcony would be bigger - seemed to be the case on the literature. The benefit of suite was you got gowns and slippers. Bed was comfy and big, lovely pillows. There were 2 tvs in the suite, you get some British channels bbc, itv, c4 if you want that. No music channels. 

Bathroom: The bathroom was average size and also had a bidet. It was kept nice and clean but we did regularly find tiny ants around the sink. Asked for a spray the first night, which I think they did, but didn’t bother asking after that just kept stuff out of the bathroom. Double (ghastly green) sinks, not well thought out as the towel rail and hairdryer block getting to it comfortably. They supply liquid soap, shower gel and shampoo. 

Balcony - was reasonable size but as had upgraded had hoped it would be a bit bigger. The location of the room meant that the balcony was hit by the winds, couldn’t sit out there anyway. Got a little sun in the morning but that’s it. Would avoid suite 408 for that reason. The sea view balcony was a bit further in and protected from the wind. 

Bar: spirits/cocktails/most drinks are appalling. There are 4 cocktails that are included - San Francisco, Tequila Sunrise, Kir Royale and Mimosa. They use local drinks for these, despite filling them with alcohol you could not taste it, to the point we were convinced they were watered down. Any other cocktails needed to be paid for. They had other local drinks - whisky, Tia Maria, baileys etc but really did not taste nice. Yet on display are all the branded drinks. You can buy these at 50% of the bar price (so 3eur each) and we ended up doing that by the end. Even the soft drinks were horrid - despite appearing to be branded (coke, Fanta). Beer (Dorada) and wine were okay. Sangria was ok. 

Food: food was delicious. Quite a small buffet but what was there was good. Nice breakfast, basic but ok. Some mornings were a bit slow to refill the buffet in particular eggs and they will do you omelette to order but chef wasn’t always around to do it. Coffee not great and juice was more like squash. 

Entertainment: a few nights they had some singers, some better than others. The seating area is not conducive to sitting around and having a drink. Chairs are uncomfortable, like they’ve taken all the back cushions away to discourage any sitting around.

Pool: never had a problem getting a bed. It was rather windy while there but nice sitting out. Plastic sunbeds some in need of attention and you go to a small room to get your own stained, tatty bed mattress, then put them away after. Didn’t go in the pool but one of our party did, was nice. 

Location: great location, some little shops and a supermarket nearby. Right on the beach and you can go left or right on the coastal path to find nice bars and restaurants. 

Overall we had a nice time and found the staff to be pleasant and the hotel clean. However it’s very ‘tired’ everywhere, I found wearing a band to be old fashioned and a duplication, given you are asked for room number anyway and your picture comes up on screen. And when you check out there is no more food/drink, even if you have a late flight back. I think that’s awful as generally you’d have arrived later so won’t have had a week’s worth of food. We were with family who weren’t leaving till 6pm on our penultimate day so we all went out for something to eat. Check out is at 12 - I asked to be able to stay in our room for one extra hour on check out day. One hour. The lady in reception said, whilst checking availability, that it would not be free, that for one hour I would be charged a half day rate. I come to Tenerife regularly and always wanted to try this hotel but I won’t be returning unless there are some improvements made.

Had a nice time, good location, friendly staff

Just returned from a lovely week at this hotel. 
From the outset we were impressed with the service. Our flight was late landing and by the time we arrived at the hotel dinner service had ended. Straightaway we were asked if we were hungry and taken to the dining room for bread, cheese, ham and salad. 
We had booked a standard double but the following morning we were pleasantly surprised to see we had been given a Seaview. The room itself was lovely, very spacious with plenty of storage. 
The pool was clean with plenty of sun beds and none of the usual rush and panic to get one, which was nice. 
We were all inclusive but decided to eat out on the evening as there was a lot of repetition and lack of choice we felt. If you like salad and pasta you will be fine. 
Throughout the duration of our stay there was very little entertainment. Despite advertising the euros they were not actually shown and there was a singer on a couple of nights. 
Overall a perfect hotel if you are just there to relax. There are a few restaurants and shops nearby but very limited. The food was a let down to us and it did lack a little atmosphere with no entertainment or music in the pool area. The staff are fantastic though and do make the hotel special. Definitely not a 4* hotel though.

Perfect if you just want to relax

Stayed here in Jan this year and it was nice and sunny and mostly warm we sunbathed most days by the pool and you are literally feet away from the Ocean.  The hotel and the team were fantastic, the reception team great and helpful.  I wanted a sea view room and paid extra for this, I emailed the hotel before I came.  In hindsight you don't have to pay as all the rooms have sea views so.......  anyway, we had a large room and they provide a kettle and fridge, the room is pretty basic but absolutely fine and we had a large balcony with great views and were so close to the sea.  The bed is ok but no top cover which I always need especially in the winter months, no robes or any small extras but that was fine.  The restaurant was surprising, its a decent size and the selection of foods/drinks were brilliant, we loved this, we stayed on a B&B basis and the dining room team were great and very friendly, anything you wanted was there, it was always my sons 21st Birthday and they brought over Cava and glasses it was a nice touch.  This hotel is in a great location for the San Blas area, a small walk to the local village and harbour and a small walk up to the town of an evening for dinner/cocktails anything you want its brilliant and vibrant and a great little hidden gem of an area in Tenerife.  The hotel is currently closed during summer 2024 for a refurb and I cannot wait to get back and experience it all again.  I've also stayed at the Santa Barbara which is just a short distance away from the Vincci,  I'll do a separate review of this.

Brilliant hidden gem

Hotel is in a great location, right on the sea and able to walk along in both directions. Supermarket and restaurants also on the door step. Could do with upgrades as was looking dated in most areas but the best point was the staff always happy to help and very friendly. Would stay again as still felt it was value for money.

Dated but good stay

Lovely hotel great location huge room with really big comfy bed, big balcony facing the ocean, breakfast was ample with plenty of choice, can't really fault anything about the place 
Great coastal paths outside the hotel, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby would say it's more suited to couples rather than families there aren't any good beaches - all black volcanic rock
