Yes it is noisey! Nightlife next door in Veronica's is very loud until 5 in the morning! But if that's your thing or you can sleep through it, this is a fabulous hotel. Close to the beach bars restaurants.  Good service good time table of entertainment and the food is fantastic.  Also the drinks on all inclusive are great not watered down like some.  If they could make the rooms sound proof somehow I would rate 5. But definitely a 4 for now.

Nice hotel

Staff in general was friendly, unless you had a complaint,  the lifeguards, they were quite grumpy most of the time. 

Swimming pool upstairs was dirty, we didn't even want to swim there

We were in block A room 704 but it did not matter as the noise from Veronica's the strip was pretty much everywhere. It was not the noise that stopped me from sleeping it was the cockroaches that came out at 4 am sometimes earlier had me jumping. My partner had to spray the corners of the room with alcohol every night to kill them, stuff didn't care to do nothing until we checked out, we were there for 5 nights to, cockroaches are everywhere in the hotel, we had baby ones but the full-size ones were on the ground floor and on the strip. Food in the hotel is not nice, was eating out the whole time. The best part of the holiday was the company, my partner tried to make things better,  I found myself crying after day 2 of the cockroaches coming to visit. seriously, never again. I’ll always read the reviews.

NEVER AGAIN!!

Just returned home after a week long stay in the sol hotel.  This review is going to be a totally honest assessment and exactly what will you will come across here and the local area .  Let’s begin at the reception and lounge area , a fantastic part where you’ll come across fat Motherwell fans , hermosa chicas , innocent tennis playing Welshman and vending machines that nobody touches.  The lift is a 10 second walk , but that 10 second walk becomes a lifetime when your enclosed and waiting about 85 hours for the lift to go to your room.  Often in the corridors outside your room you meet the maids and they are absolutely lovely .  They will do anything to help, come and go as you need them to clean and replace bits and pieces , but I’m not going to lie they speak no English .  If you want to communicate with them shout  ‘Papel De Bano’!! In their face .  The room is very satisfying, a lovely sink and shower , fridge blah blah blah blah , but the beds are absolutely rock solid.  If you have any back injury , I recommend sleeping elsewhere because you are laying on a diving board before it’s been jumped on.  Combine this  with the fact there’s a lamp 1cm above your head that you will hit your head probably 20 times during your stay, it’s a dangerous injury pending.  Balcony is lovely but it’s about who your with and who your next door to .  We had weirdos next to us both sides so we purposely played the same Tory lanez songs just to annoy them.  Going and returning on a night out, you’ll come across a security guard who acts tough and thinks he’s important, but in reality when you get that sol band on your wrist , your the boss who can take anyone you want back to the gaff.  A 20 yard runway down to the party area known as Veroniacs strip.  Your nights might consist of meeting many lads called Charlie or spending chill ones at the coffee shop…… in terms of location Sol can’t be beaten.  Food at sol I hear you ask ? Breakfast we didn’t do once so I can’t comment on that , however dinner we done every night.  A huge selection catering for the whole hotel , however I’m not going to lie it was the cheapest food and meat I’ve ever ate .  It’s a shame because the staff are lovely and so are the chefs , on your arrival to dinner they greet you to a champions league style arm on the chest like Arda Gulers celebration, maybe something was in the air because he scored a worldie vs Georgia the following night.  This review is not beating around the bush , you come on this app looking for honesty and that’s exactly what you will get.    The pool is beautiful, the music is beautiful but sun beds are hard to come by .  If you aren’t down by 8am , you will be a peasant in the corner on a black chair …. Still a great experience because you will venture into the cold refreshing water.  There’s also a tennis court if you like your tennis and a pool table near reception ,  a good bit of fun and honesty away from the chaos.  Sol hotel is without a shadow of a doubt , the best hotel in las Américas , the staff are so friendly , the place is bouncing , the atmosphere is terrific and it’s clean.  Ring up Love holidays , oh wait they’re bust, ring up On the Beach and get yourselves to the Sol.   Couples , singles , old grannies , families …. I’d especially recommend room 919 . Honest perfect assessment

Firstly the only thing we could really rate was the Seaview which we paid for.
Room was clean but could be updated. Flush didn't work.
Food wasn't the best breakfast or evening meal we ate out most days.
Morning bread left was used for evening cooked breakfast was tasteless and looks like it had been warmed up from day before.
Having to pay for a drink with your evening meal unless water.
Couldn't hear the strip really only the stage downstairs on until gone 11, we did have front facing room so wasn't on the same side as veronicas.
People complaining in reception about their room ,decor in reception tatty and worn.
Wouldn't recommend for families just a hotel to put your head down really if your looking for luxury move on. It's safe to say def wouldn't stay again.

Cheap and cheerful would rate it 2-3 stars max

We had a nice stay at SOL, I must say, its very loud until 5am, so please bring ear plugs if you wish to sleep. Food wasnt great, but okay, all inclusive drinks were strong enough, rooms nice and tidy, cleaned every day. Nice views from balcony. ( we were staying on 11th floor)
This hotel is in great location, 2 mins walk to the beach and promanade with stunning sunset views.

Overall good hotel
