How long should I have left on my passport in order to travel?

Information for British citizens: When travelling to destinations in the European Union (EU), your passport cannot be older than 10 years when entering the country. You will also need to have at least 3 months left on your passport after the date of your return. This rule applies to both adult and child passports.

For countries outside of the EU, you may need to have up to 6 months validity from the date you return.
