Proving your vaccination status

If you’re fully vaccinated with two doses of an EU/WHO approved vaccine many destinations do not require you to show a negative COVID test result prior to entering the country.

In order to qualify the second vaccine dose generally needs to have been administered at least 14 days prior to arrive. Since entry conditions vary by destination and are subject to alteration, we recommend that you visit the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) travel advice page for the most up to date information at https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice

Please note that if you wish to use a printed PDF version to demonstrate your COVID-19 vaccination status you should ensure that it is dated from 1 November otherwise it may be rejected.

NHS COVID pass

An NHS COVID Pass provides evidence of your vaccination status and is available to everyone 16 or over who have had both vaccinations. Full guidance on the NHS COVID Pass can be found at https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/covid-pass/
